Rules

The Ohio Challenge Series (OCS) runs from January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025. 

Participants must opt-in to the OCS. Cost to join: $45.00

Participating events in the OCS require additional registration and payment.

Deadline for joining the OCS is August 31, 2025

Note: Events participated in prior to joining the OCS do not count and are not tabulated

Age is based on birthdate as of the first race (birthdate will be different for each category). This determines your Age Group for the year.

  • 5K Series: 5K & Under, Minimum 5 events, Best 5 events scored
  • 10K Series: Any distance over a 5K and up to a 10K (5k will be excluded). Minimum 4 events Best 4 events scored
  • Trail 10K Series: Any trail distance over a 5K and up to a 10K (5k will be excluded). Minimum 4 events Best 4 events scored
  • Half Marathon Series: Any distance over a 10K and up to a Half Marathon (10k will be excluded) Minimum 3 events Best 3 events scored
  • Competitive Walking Series: All completive walking events regardless of distance. Minimum 3 events, Best 3 events score
